Airport transfers to popular Negril hotels
Negril splits into three areas for pricing. Bloody Bay is the quiet northern cove you reach first from the airport. Seven Mile Beach runs south from there to Negril town. The West End starts past the town roundabout, where hotels sit on cliffs instead of sand.
Riu Palace Tropical Bay
Riu Palace Tropical Bay sits on Bloody Bay, the first part of Negril you reach coming from Montego Bay, so it’s one of the shortest rides at around 1 hour 10 minutes. It shares the bay with Riu Negril, so please double-check which Riu is on your confirmation when you book.
Riu Negril
Riu Negril is the neighbor of Riu Palace Tropical Bay on Bloody Bay. The two resorts are often mixed up at the gate, so your driver confirms the property name with you at pickup. Expect about 1 hour 10 minutes from MBJ.
Royalton Negril
Royalton Negril is at the north end of Negril near Bloody Bay, about 1 hour 10–20 minutes from the airport. Families with car seats or lots of luggage should note it on the booking form so we send the right size van.
Azul Beach Resort Negril
Azul Beach Resort Negril, formerly Azul Sensatori, is on Seven Mile Beach about 1 hour 15–30 minutes from MBJ. If your older confirmation still says Sensatori, it’s the same resort.
Couples Swept Away
Couples Swept Away is an adults-only couples resort on Seven Mile Beach. Most guests travel as two, which makes the Mercedes-Benz private car a popular choice for this ride of roughly 1 hour 20 minutes.
Sandals Negril
Many Sandals bookings already include the resort’s shared airport transfer, so check your confirmation first. Guests book us when they want a private, nonstop ride instead of waiting for a shared coach that stops at other resorts.
Hedonism II
Hedonism II is an adults-only resort at the north end of Negril, near Bloody Bay, around 1 hour 10–20 minutes from the airport. Your driver drops you right at reception.
The Cliff Hotel
The Cliff Hotel is on Negril’s West End, past the town roundabout and along West End Road. That extra stretch is why cliff properties cost $120 and take about 1 hour 30–45 minutes from MBJ.
Rockhouse Hotel
Rockhouse is set on the West End cliffs, a short drive beyond Negril town. Plan on about 1 hour 30–45 minutes from the airport, and note on the booking form if you have heavy bags, since some rooms are a walk from the road.

How your Negril airport pickup works
- Book online. Enter your flight number, hotel or Airbnb address, and passenger count. You’ll get a confirmation with your driver’s WhatsApp number.
- Land at MBJ. Clear immigration, collect your bags and pass through customs. This usually takes 30–60 minutes, and we time your pickup around it.
- Meet your driver. Walk out of the arrivals exit and look for the sign with your name.
- Ride straight to Negril. The route follows the coast road through Hopewell, Lucea and Green Island. Your driver can make a short stop for groceries or drinks if you ask.
- Arrive at your door. Bags go to reception, or to your villa gate for private rentals.
