After immigration, baggage claim and customs, go to Desk 4 in the arrivals area. Give your name there and we’ll walk you to your driver.
What if my flight is late?

Airport transfers to Ocho Rios hotels
Ocho Rios hotels fall into three stretches of coast. Coming from Montego Bay, you reach Mammee Bay first, then the town itself, then the resorts heading east toward Oracabessa. The farther east you stay, the longer the ride.
Mammee Bay, west of town
The shortest rides from MBJ, about 1 hour 30 minutes. Dunn’s River Falls is a few minutes away.
Riu Ocho Rios
Riu Ocho Rios sits on Mammee Bay, west of town, so you arrive before the traffic of central Ocho Rios. Expect around 1 hour 30 minutes from the airport, with drop-off at the main lobby.
Sandals Dunn’s River
Sandals Dunn’s River is also on Mammee Bay, close to the falls it’s named after. Many Sandals stays include a shared resort transfer, so check your booking first. Book us if you’d rather leave the airport right away and ride nonstop.
Ocho Rios town and just east
About 1 hour 35–45 minutes from MBJ, depending on traffic through town.
Moon Palace Jamaica
Moon Palace is in Ocho Rios town, within easy reach of the shops, restaurants and cruise port. The ride takes about 1 hour 35 minutes, a little longer when a cruise ship is in.
Sandals Ochi
Sandals Ochi, sometimes listed as Sandals Ocho Rios, is in town. As with every Sandals resort, check whether your package includes the shared transfer, then choose us if you want your own vehicle and no stops at other resorts.
Jamaica Inn
Jamaica Inn has welcomed guests on its own cove just east of town since the 1950s. It’s a small, quiet property, so your driver brings you right to the front entrance. Plan on about 1 hour 40 minutes.
Sandals Royal Plantation
Sandals Royal Plantation is an all-butler resort a few minutes east of town, not out at Boscobel, so it’s on the standard $100 fare. Couples often pick the Mercedes-Benz for this ride.
Couples Sans Souci
Couples Sans Souci is set below the cliffs east of town, around its natural mineral spring. Couples packages usually include a shared airport transfer. Book private if you want to skip the wait and ride straight there.
Farther east: Tower Isle, Boscobel and Oracabessa
Another 15–30 minutes past town, which is why these fares start at $120.
Couples Tower Isle
Couples Tower Isle is about 15 minutes past Ocho Rios town, roughly 1 hour 50 minutes from the airport. As with Sans Souci, check whether your package includes a shared transfer before booking.
Beaches Boscobel
Beaches Boscobel is a family resort about 20 minutes east of town. Families on a two-hour ride with kids usually want a van to themselves. Add children’s ages on the booking form so we can fit car seats.
GoldenEye
GoldenEye, Ian Fleming’s former estate, is in Oracabessa, the farthest point on this page at about 2 hours from MBJ. Many guests here pick the Mercedes-Benz for a quieter, more comfortable ride.

How your Ocho Rios airport pickup works
- Book online. Enter your flight number, where you’re staying and how many are traveling. You’ll receive a confirmation with our contact number.
- Land at MBJ. Clear immigration, collect your bags and pass through customs. This usually takes 30–60 minutes, and your pickup is timed around it.
- Go to Desk 4. Give your name at Desk 4 in the arrivals area, and we’ll take you to your driver and vehicle.
- Drive the north coast. The route runs east through Falmouth, Duncans, Discovery Bay and Runaway Bay. Ask your driver if you’d like a short stop for groceries or a drink.
- Arrive at your door. Bags go to reception, or to your villa gate for private rentals.
