Will we make it back to the ship on time?
Yes. We check your ship’s arrival and departure times and plan backwards from all-aboard, which is usually 30 minutes before the ship sails. The day is built to get you back to the Falmouth pier about an hour before all-aboard.
On a standard port day, most guests are back at the pier in the early afternoon.
Do we need riding experience?
No. Most guests are first-time riders. Guides match each rider to a calm, well-trained horse, explain the basics before you start, and stay with your group throughout the ride.
Do we really swim with the horse?
Yes. The sea swim is the highlight: the horses wade into the Caribbean and you swim alongside them with your guide nearby. It depends on weather, sea conditions and the ranch’s safety rules on the day, so the swim portion can change if the sea isn’t safe.
How far is the ranch from Falmouth Cruise Port?
Usually about 30–55 minutes each way by private vehicle, depending on the ranch location, traffic and port movement. With the ride and swim, plan on roughly 4.5 hours pier to pier.
Can children do the Horseback Ride & Swim?
Yes, many families book this tour. Minimum age and weight rules are set by the ranch and can vary, so tell us your children’s ages when you book and we’ll confirm before your cruise.
Is the price per person or per group?
Both. Private transport is $180 for 1–4 guests plus $20 per extra guest, and the horseback tour is $75 per person. For example, 2 guests come to about $330 and 4 guests about $480.
Food, drinks, ranch photos and tips aren’t included.
What should we wear and bring?
Wear your swimsuit under shorts or light clothes, and closed shoes or secure sandals for riding. Bring a towel, dry clothes, sunscreen, a waterproof phone pouch, your ship card and photo ID, and small US bills for tips.

Meeting arrangements are confirmed with your reservation. Port access rules and authorized pickup areas can change, so we send exact instructions for your sailing, including how to identify your driver.

What if the weather is bad?
The ranch makes the safety call on the day. Light rain usually doesn’t stop the ride, but if sea conditions aren’t safe, the swim portion may be shortened or changed. We’ll keep you updated on WhatsApp.
